Cuba’s income per capita population of about USD 17 to USD 20 per month or approximately Rp. 200 thousands, and most users who use computers only at school or office use. it would not be a barrier and they now have been able to develop their own linux distro, really incredible.

Open source operating system is implemented as an effort made to enlarge the influence of Cuba against American in the computer market. And also to avoid the license fees in connection with the use of paying the operating system like Microsoft Windows.

Linux distro called Nova, developed over more than one year by a student at the University of Havana.
