Improving the security of Windows XP
In Windows NT, before entering a username and password to log on normally, we need to press Ctrl + Alt + Del first. The same thing can be done very well on Windows XP. It’s just that this feature is disabled by default. If you want the same features that Windows NT runs on Windows XP, you can follow these steps :
- Click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy.
- When the Local Security Policy window is already open, go to Security Settings \ LocalPolicies Options \ Security.
- Then, find the policy interactive logon: Do not require CTRL + ALT + DEL.
- Double-click it and choose the policy reduced
- After closing the dialog box by clicking OK and close the Local Security Policy window Once you’ve followed the steps above, then before you can logon, you must press Ctrl + Alt + Del first
